Nike: It’s Her Shot Tour

Did you know that girls have 1.3 million fewer opportunities to play high school sports than boys have? This is due to many factors, like a lack of physical education in schools and limited opportunities to play sports in both high school and college. Nike recognizes this problem, and addressed it through the It’s Her Shot Tour.

IHS empowers girls ages 8-18 to play ball, have fun, and feel confident. This tour stopped in major markets across the country, from New York City to Los Angeles. The final output? 100% of girls at each market said they felt empowered to continue balling.
